Swansea City have parted company with striker Michu in an effort to help the Spaniard find a new club, having fallen out of favour at the Liberty Stadium.

Both parties have reached a financial agreement over the remainder of the 29-year-old’s contract, which ran until the end of this season, read a Swansea statement.

The agreement will allow Michu to become a free agent and assist him to find a new club straight away in order to kick-start his playing career again in January.

Bajevic quits AEK for third time

Dusan Bajevic has quit as coach of AEK Athens for a third time in his career after a string of poor results raised the ire of a large portion of already-disgruntled fans.

The final act for the 62-year-old Bosnian Serb as AEK s coach came Sunday when his team suffered a 3-1 away loss to newcomers Olympiakos Volos.

The result left AEK in 13th spot in the 16-team Greek Super League on four points from the opening four matches of the season, Bajevic saying his resignation was the only solution .

Angry AEK fans threw debris, including a broken chair, at Bajevic as he left the pitch after the match.

AEK announced that until a new coach is found former Albanian international midfielder Bledar Kola will take charge.

Sporting CP look towards MLS for their next target

The latest Major League Soccer has ended about half a month ago and since then there were a lot of deals across the pond. MLS franchises are doing their business, as they prepare for the 2020 season which will commence in early March. One of their big stars might not be there once the new season starts rolling.

Ezequiel Barco could leave Atlanta United in the off-season, as he has been tabbed as a potential replacement for Bruno Fernades at Sporting CP. According to Record, the Portuguese giants are still figuring out whether they will sell Fernandes this January, once the transfer window starts and if that happens, they will be set to earn a lot of money.

Juventus boss Allegri turned his back on Ronaldo penalty

Cristiano Ronaldo s decisive penalty in Juventus 1-0 Derby della Mole win at Torino was too much for head coach Massimiliano Allegri s nerves to handle.

The reigning Serie A champions were below par for long spells in a fractious contest but were handed a chance to claim the three points when home goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo brought down Mario Mandzukic following Simone Zaza s dreadful backpass.

Ichazo, who was making a first Serie A appearance for Torino since January 2016, almost made himself the hero by getting a hand to Ronaldo s penalty but it squirmed in.

Given the unconvincing nature of the conversion, Allegri probably did himself a favour by turning the other way.

“I didn t see the penalty, as I turned my back to it. I very rarely watch the pena…

PSG´s Pochettino understands Angers frustration after contentious Mbappe penalty

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino said he understood Angers frustration after a controversial late penalty gave the Ligue 1 leaders a 2-1 victory.

PSG trailed following Angelo Fulgini s 36th-minute opener before Danilo Pereira s header, their first shot on target, levelled matters on Friday.

It looked as if they would have to settle for a share of the spoils, but PSG were awarded a penalty after a VAR check for handball against Pierrick Capelle.

Kylian Mbappe swept home from 12 yards in the 87th minute, with Angers left to fume.

Romain Thomas felt he was fouled by PSG forward Mauro Icardi in the lead-up to the penalty incident.

He told Prime Video: It s incredible what s happened.

Giroud savours return to goals as Milan fight back against Verona

Olivier Giroud was relieved to get back among the goals as Milan fought back to beat Hellas Verona 3-2 at San Siro on Saturday.

The Rossoneri looked to be heading for a first defeat in 30 home Serie A meetings with Verona when Gianluca Caprari and Antonin Barak put them 2-0 up before half-time.

Giroud headed in just before the hour mark to spark Milan s revival, with Franck Kessie levelling the scores from the penalty spot before a late decisive own goal from Koray Gunter.

The result put Stefano Pioli s men top of the table ahead of Napoli s clash with Torino on Sunday.

In scoring his third goal in his first two Serie A home games, Giroud matched a feat only previous reached by Oliver Bierhoff, Alexandre Pato, Mario Balotelli and Carlos Bacca since 1994-9…

One Of The Best Nintendo Switch Controllers Is Getting A Major New Feature

There’s no shortage of great third-party controllers for Nintendo Switch, but and the Split Pad Pro has long been the best for handheld mode. The only downside to the gamepad, of course, was its lack of compatibility when playing in docked mode–although Hori is fixing that issue later this year with the Split Pad Pro Attachment Set. Come from Sports betting site VPbet
